• Drivers must be at least 16 years old. Drivers and passengers under 18 years old must have a parent/ legal guardian present to complete waivers . All passengers, including children, must ride behind the driver. Children must be at least 55 lbs, their feet need to reach the footwell floor of the jet ski, and they must be able to hold onto the person in front. 

• Seadoo Sparks are lighter and smaller than traditional jet skis, therefore we do not allow adult passengers. You are more likely to fall off or flip the jet ski with 2 adult riders. It is a much better experience for adults to ride solo.

• Reservations are required. Please book in advance through our online booking site. 

• The time you book is your arrival time for check-in. It will take about 45 minutes to complete the written safety test, demonstrations, sign all waivers and agreements, ensure proper fitting of life jacket, and get on the jet skis. Time for these required procedures will cut into ride time for late arrivals.​     

• All drivers will be required to complete and pass the Maryland general Boater's Safety Test to receive temporary certification to rent a jet ski. No prior jet ski experience required!

• Everyone must have a valid driver's license or photo ID with them. 

• Operating a Jet Ski while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs is illegal. We are required by law to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated or under the influence of substances, or to anyone who cannot understand or read the safety demonstration and test.

• Nabbs Creek Marina offers free onsite parking. Look for the Breakwater Adventures sign on the ground floor of the marina office for check-in. 

• Cancellation Policy - We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 24 hours of your rental. No shows will forfeit the entire rental fee. 

• Weather Policy - If there is severe weather, we will contact you to cancel (with refund) or reschedule your rental. We do not cancel for light rain or chance of storms. 

• Late Fee - Late returns to the dock are subject to forfeiture of security deposit. 

• Switching out drivers is not allowed. 

• Renters are responsible for all damages. A $150 refundable damage deposit will be held for each rental.

• It is not required but we highly recommend water shoes! You will be boarding on a floating dock and flip flops can be slippery. Water shoes also offer foot protection when on the jet skis.
